If you're like me (regarding my penchant for social media I mean), you're probably the type that scrounges around various networks looking for the most distinct headline or story to blog about. I love the fact that so many brands and agencies are lately following the trend of cutting out the middle man and establishing connections with consumers. Fashion is becoming more democratized, in a way. In the case for Mr Porter (whose YouTube channel is one that I frequent majorly), their approach to making fashion more for the consumer is highlighted by media that is superbly rich in detail and cleverly exerted by classical style. Byron and Dexter Peart, founders of Want Les Essentiels (a brand that I plan to feature on my 'Covetables' segment very soon) were featured in an interview by Mr Porter that goes into their perspective on the 'perfect bag' for the modern man. While not long in duration, it briefly details the highly individualistic nature and composed appeal behind the twin brothers vision. Check out the video below (link to the channel provided here :]) for the full blow-by-blow segment.
Have a great day! <3
