Now I'm slightly tardy on this one, but this is still nonetheless exciting: Opening Ceremony collabing with Adidas (which, surprisingly, happens to be a former favorite shoe company of mine.) To kick off the opening of the London Olympics, Adidas and OC teamed up to present a contemporary collection that's so worthy for all types. I stumbled onto that super-luxe online shop Oki-ni to see their offerings, but don't take off just yet; save that itchy finger of yours for the online OC store instead (Oki-ni does provide a veritable selection of cycling pants from this collection though.) If you enjoyed La Renta's resort show some time ago, you'll be glad to see the floral trend at its best once more. Sportswear is obviously the theme here, so all the sneaker-heads won't be disappointed: the line is centered around brightly colored henleys, outerwear splashed heavily with laser cut bandanna prints and Adidas' solution for a be-all, end-all sneaker - high-top options with exploding bouquets. Excited yet?

The womens options were no less impressive: an assortment of knee-length cycling shorts pair nicely with bombers laced in reflective touches and look still stronger with the above mentioned high-tops. Since I'm no cycling enthusiast, the biking onesie that followed was a bit much for my taste. Dresses and peplums can also be seen, which sets my heart at ease - really, nothing can be more modern than a peplum. Peep the pics below and follow up on the complete collection at OC (for both men and women.)
