Canadian online start-up Saphra.com (link here) seems to know a thing or two about the importance of a value-based system - just peep their product catalogue to get a good idea of whats being offered. The Calgary-based boutique has owner Joni Thompson at the helm, who aims to please the missing segment of fresh, green young adults with a collection of items described as "affordable, fresh, AND trendy" - really, you can't argue with that. Their statement of purpose is none the less exciting as well (see below).
Saphra, the Arabic word for yellow, is bold, but never garish; accessible, but never boring. Saphra is for the woman who wants to make a statement.
Thompson assures me that their items offered will sell for no more than $60, which works well for the 16-30 year segment that they plan to target. Booties, bluchers, oxfords, sandals and flats of modern aesthetic answer for footwear, while the usual list of accessories - clutches, bracelets, earrings, phone charms and the like- assures us that that they won't be spreading themselves too thinly. Peep the pics below to get a taste of what's offered from our contemps up north and be sure to spread the word on this one. I've got a feeling that all those thrifty chicks will get a kick from this <3
