It's good to be back! It's been an amazing week for me (I hate that it has to end so soon :[ ) For those who aren't exactly keeping up with the times, I currently work at Georgia Southwestern (in Americus, GA - don't feel bad if you've never heard of this school <3) and through the drudgery capping off this semester, I got a chance to "cover" ( and by cover, I mean photographing to my leisure and briefly participating) the event that so many students were dying to see : SABU's 2nd annual Fashion Show. For this go 'round, I'm deviating a bit to post pics (while peppering a bit of commentary in the mix <3)

While I can't speak about last years show, for this year the SABU organization (the group that hosted it - Servicable, Adaptable, Beautiful, United) chose the theme of "Pervasive Culture" to ring in the tune. Participants from all demographics pulled their energies together to make what became a decidely laudable affair. In between changing times, attendees were greeted with mini performances by other organizations on campus (many groups had a hand in bringing the show together - Zeta Phi Beta and Sigma Gamma Rho sororities, for example). Classic, sack fit 5 button suits, in one instance, undoubtedly made my hair stand on end, but then my feelings were coaxed when cultural fashions such as Indian saris and bellowing kimonos were put forth. Without a doubt, the show held its own, for sure <3

Have a great day! <3
